Kayla Brown is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 11 years of experience in healthcare. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Johnston Community College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Appalachian State University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Dr. Brown is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and provides comprehensive primary care across the lifespan. She is passionate about meeting people where they are and is dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare in underserved communities. Her special interests include preventative care, women’s health, chronic illnesses, and pediatrics.

A native of Benson and Four Oaks, Dr. Brown is excited to practice in and give back to the very community that raised her. Outside of her professional practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her two sons, and traveling to explore new places.
